Vancouver-based percussionist Katie Rife is an enthusiastic performer of new music, with appearances in concerts presented by Music on Main, Vancouver New Music, Redshift Music Society, the Canadian Music Centre, and Little Chamber Music. She is a founding member of Driftwood Percussion, principal percussionist with the Okanagan Symphony, and an extra musician with several BC orchestras. Katie holds a Masters of Music and Professional Studies Diploma from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, a Bachelors of Music from the University of British Columbia, and has had multiple artist residencies at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
